“The Pastor and the Revolutionary” is a historical drama inspired by real events that follows the story of a communist and a Christian from the 1970s into 2000.
In the 1970s, a Communist revolutionary is in the same prison cell of an evangelical Christian, arrested by mistake. In the midst of tortures and ideological conflicts, they help each other and set a meeting for the New Year’s Eve of 2000. On the last days of the millennium, Juliana, a student activist and illegitimate daughter of a colonel who has just committed suicide, is surprised by an inheritance left for her. Through a book found at the colonel’s house, she will discover that her father was the torturer of both prisoners and that the set meeting will not happen as it was predicted.
