Pitch Perfectly: Pitching & Packaging Your Film Presented by GreenHause

Free Admission

So how do you get your film funded?

In this 90 minute interactive workshop, you’ll learn how to turn a great idea into a project people can get behind and fund. We break down what goes into a film pitch through hands-on exercises and group work. We will be tackling subjects such as loglines, treatments, pitch decks, elevator pitches, and packaging. From there we will put it into practice. The session closes with a live 2 minute pitch round where selected participants pitch their projects for feedback, and everyone in the room learns from watching.

What We’ll Cover

  • Loglines: Hook someone in one line
  • Treatments: Shape your story, characters, and world in a page
  • Elevator Pitches: Build a 30-90 second pitch that gets people to lean in and listen
  • Pitch Decks: What makes a deck compelling and what financiers want to see
  • Packaging: Bring your budget, schedule, and sizzle together as one fundable package
  • Common Pitfalls: The mistakes that lose an investor before the conversation starts
  • Live Pitch Round: Put your pitch to the test and get feedback from a working producer
