When one of his pigs gets sick, Emilio is sent by his father Diego, an alcoholic who hasn’t been able to get out of bed for days, to get the vet. The vet checks her, finds nothing and concludes that the pig is pretending so that he does everything for her. After putting her down, Emilio realizes that the pig is not the only one who has been faking.
