Dreaming of Lions is a darkly comical and poignant adventure spurred by love and euthanasia, where friends-turned-lovers are found in the most unexpected of times and places, and what really matters is living (and dying) on your own terms.

Gilda is a terminally ill woman whose only wish is to die without pain, but that’s easier said than done, as all her suicide attempts comically fail. So she seeks professional help and discovers a company called Joy Transition International where she meets Amadeu, who decided to become a mortician after his parents died in a “selfie-related accident.” When they have to engage in all sorts of ridiculous activities and she finds out that the organization may not be what it seems, they have to consider taking matters into their own hands.
