Martinez (Francisco Reyes, A Fantastic Woman), a lonely and cranky man, is forced to accept his imminent retirement when his replacement Pablo shows up to work. On his return home, Martinez finds that his neighbor died and that she, to his surprise, gifted him all her belongings. His curiosity awakens, and he discovers Amalia’s life through her possessions. His colleagues begin to suspect that Martinez has a new romance. Martinez starts to believe this as well and succumbs to his fantasy. With a change of heart, the office informs Martinez that he can keep his job. Torn, Martinez must make a decision.
