Join us for a conversation with executives from both talent and corporate at Comcast NBCUniversal Telemundo as they discuss opportunities within their talent diversity initiatives which include:  NBC’s Writers on the Verge Program, the Emerging Director Program, NBC’s StandUp for Diversity nationwide talent search and the NBCUniversal Short Film Festival. The forum will also cover the workforce side of the company including internal employee, HR Talent recruitment and commitment to community investment.

Credits include, Scandal, Queen of the South, Outsiders. David was also the Executive Producer the acclaimed Showtime series, The Chi and the Executive Producer on TNT’s Animal Kingdom.

The conversation will cover the struggle, pathways, and opportunities for emerging directors to transition from indie-film to television. The panel will also cover diversity in this business and opportunities for directors and talent of color. David is a NYLFF filmmaker alumni from the Bronx
