Switch & Bait

Otmara Marrero plays a tough female cop tasked with getting a key witness to Detroit in time to testify in this fast-paced, action-packed cross-country chase reminiscent of “Midnight Run” and “Thelma & Louise”.

“Switch & Bait”, based on a script written by Russell Gewirtz (“Inside Man”), tells the story of a seemingly naïve sex worker who escapes the clutches of a notorious gangster with a cell phone containing all his secrets. A tough female cop, who may or may not be crooked, is given the job to get the witness, on time and in one piece to testify. However, in a cross-country chase filled with gunfights, double-crossing, and newfound respect, it soon emerges that not everyone is who they pretend to be.
