Brian Espinosa is a young, troubled man who has had more than his share of police contact. When his longtime girlfriend, Melody, accidentally and fatally overdoses, Brian enlists the help of his best friend, Sarah. When Sarah arrives, Melody miraculously returns, yet she is not quite herself. Detectives James Madsen and Jeffrey Slater are en route to apprehend Brian on a criminal warrant.
