A Song for My Land / Una Canción Para Mi Tierra

Directed by Mauricio Albornoz Iniesta

Can a rural school music teacher change the world?

Ramiro Lezcano, a rural music teacher in Argentina, discovers something disturbing: airplanes are spraying agrochemicals near schools, endangering the health of his students. So, Ramiro and the children compose songs to denounce this issue, but the initiative meets fierce resistance in the local community. The teacher decides to take his protest to another level to be heard and organizes a massive concert in the middle of the countryside: an “environmental Woodstock”.
