Shot entirely in the Brazilian city of Curitiba, Mirador is the moving story of a struggling boxer tasked with raising his daughter after the disappearance of her mother. Between an exhausting routine of training and odd jobs to survive, his biggest fight is yet to be won, that of becoming a father.

Maycon, 33, is an amateur boxer trying to go pro while balancing two part-time jobs. His two year old daughter,  Malu, is the result of a casual relationship that he had with Michele. After the girl’s mother disappears, leaving Malu in his care, Maycon’s life is turned upside down. Between the exhaustive routine of training and his part-time work to make ends meet, Maycon’s biggest fight is still to be won: to become a father.
